Iterative Approach in Web Development Process

Here is my own version of Web Development Process following the Iterative Approach originally used for software development.

1. Client Needs and Requirements Gathering - All possible requirements of the website to be developed are captured in this phase usually by the Business Analyst. The requirements are gathered from the client through chats or emails, these requirements are analyzed for their validity and the possibility of incorporating the requirements in the website to be developed is also studied by the Project Manager and the Lead Developer. Configure a Free Yet Short Domain Name with a Free Web Hosting

Note: This article is meant to guide a novice who wants to have a short domain name and web hosting but don’t want to pay a penny or can’t afford at all. Oh! since you’re still here, I assume that you already have an idea what is a “domain name” and a “web hosting”, if not, Google It please.

A good example of a completely free-yet-short domain name is “www.itworks.co.cc” (sounds familiar). As far as I know, co.cc is the shortest free domain name service that offers not only redirection but full domain name server management. Read the rest of this entry »
